We set out to conceptualise a new genre of shared offices with the visionaries at Banyan Workspace, a boutique work and event space in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. 

The unit’s existing mezzanine and beams posed a structurally complex puzzle involving steelwork modifications, circulation solutions, and significant edits to layout efficiency.

The result is a pleasing, lush space that combines raw and modern elements with traditionally crafted materials - it is a work environment that is both relaxed and refined.

Banyan features a double height library and atrium, a bespoke desk chair and textile design, enchanting seating areas, and intimate, niche-embedded desk spaces, as well as a centerpiece planter and desk with a spectacular view of the harbour.
